Natural materials, living fibres. A guide to caring for what’s made to last.

The Fabric Life

Maryanaz Fabric Philosophy

Natural Fabrics aren’t just materials. They are companions, soft-spoken, alive, and worthy of rest.

A guide to caring for what’s made to last.

The Touch of Nature, The Heart of Maryanaz

Our fabrics are chosen not only for how they feel, but for what they mean. Always natural. Always kind to skin and soul.

Silk

Silk moves with you - breathable, featherlight, and naturally cooling. Its delicate sheen is matched only by its quiet strength, making it perfect for warm climates and timeless silhouettes.

Alive, Luminous, Whisper-Light.

Ceshmere and wool

Crafted from nature’s softest threads - our wool and cashmere blends offer structure without stiffness, softness without weight. Ideal for warmth in motion, comfort in elegance.

Warmth, Breathability, Grace.

Blends

Maryanaz blends silk, wool, cashmere, linen, and cotton, chosen for their grace, breathability, and beauty. Each fabric lives with you, softly and lastingly.

Harmonious. Refined. Timelessly Comfortable.

Just like us, they need space to breathe and time to rest.

Let Them Breathe

Silk and cashmere are living fibers - never meant to be compressed or crowded. Let them breathe between wears. Hang or fold softly. Like us, they need time to rest.

  • Avoid overcrowded storage
  • Never leave tightly packed or sealed for long periods
  • Natural creases soften with air and time

Cleansing is an act of care - not correction.

Cleansing, Not Washing

Caring for natural fibers like silk, wool, cashmere, cotton, and linen begins with intention. These are living materials, not wash-and-go garments- they thrive when treated gently.

  • Spot clean with cold water + mild, unscented soap
  • Hand wash only when label allows (cold water, pH-neutral detergent)
  • Lay flat on a towel to dry - never hang wet garments
  • Steam instead of ironing. If needed, iron with a cloth barrier
  • Store in cotton or breathable bags

Avoid: Machine washing, hot water, bleach, tumble drying, and harsh chemicals.

Each Maryanaz piece is unique. Always check your care label. Still unsure? Contact us - we’re happy to help or recommend a trusted cleaning service.

Steam softens. Heat scars.

Heat & Humidity

Heat changes the shape of natural fibers. Steam is your friend; direct heat is not.

  • Use steam to revive shape
  • Never iron directly without a protective cloth
  • Avoid hanging garments in direct sun or near heaters
  • Over time, excess heat can alter drape and fit

Fragrance touches fabric like memory touches skin

Perfume, Lotion, Deodorant

  • Let lotions or deodorants fully absorb before dressing
  • Spray perfume on your skin or hair - never on garments
  • Avoid direct contact with oils or alcohol-based scents

Folded softly, wrapped in breath.

Travel & Storage

  • Use cotton pouches or breathable garment bags
  • Avoid plastic, vacuum seals, or synthetic coverings
  • Rest garments between wears - don’t re-hang immediately
  • For travel: gently roll instead of tight folding
